We could tell that there was a shortage of staff as the servers were moving rapidly. David was a perfect server, always there when we needed him and conveniently absent otherwise. I had a NY strip and my wife had a small filet mignon both cooked to perfection. Cocktails, salads, entrees, side dishes, wine, coffee and desserts were all outstanding. He gave us a couple minutes to get situated then returned to offer cocktails and explain the Valentines Day specials. elegantly and our server, David, greeted us warmly within seconds after being seated. We arrived a bit early so we waited about ten minutes while the hostess finished seating those with reservations before ours. My wife and I had an exceptionally good experience here on Valentines Day 2022. Overall, a good experience and we will be back. The deserts are huge and delicious the definitely don't skimp on portion sizes of anything here. We did finally get bread as we saw another table had it so we asked for some. I had the Elk Chops which were also great, and we shared a large side of Lobster Garlic Mashed Potatoes, which were just ok. Ada my wife ordered the Steak Medallions, and they were perfectly cooked and delicious. Bread would have been a nice to have also. We had Calamari and some cocktails while deciding what to eat. Thankfully we had a good waiter that kept us informed. We were here December 7th, and they had a couple of parties or large groups, so service was a little slow. Our first impression was what beautiful decor this place. This would be my only complaint though petty was that no one asked if we were celebrating anything. We usually go to Mortans Steak House for our Anniversary but felt like a change for our 32nd.
